In Béziers one can come across the last vestiges of the galets roulés, the typical thick pebbles of the Rhône of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Here we find a beautiful white Grenache, completely different from that of Batea. Very Mediterranean, rich and mineral at the same time, the perfect pairing with the acidities of Batea, which still lingered in my mind. A blend that would be the perfect base for an elegant and sparkling Grenache.
