Pasión is much more than just a name. It reflects our way of understanding wine — and our tribute to native grape varieties, those that have taken root in their land for generations and have a story to tell.
BOBAL AND MOSCATEL, BORN IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
Bobal is a perfect example of our passion for native grape varieties. A complex grape that our grandparents already cultivated — one that demands care in the vineyard and skill in the winery.
Our old Bobal vines are located in the highest area of the Utiel-Requena region, in Camporrobles, where they thrive under a climate of extreme thermal contrasts — with temperature swings of over 20 degrees between day and night. These fluctuations allow for a slow and balanced ripening process, resulting in grapes with a truly unique expression.
The terroir does the rest. The region’s limestone soils bring minerality and freshness — that vibrant touch that makes all the difference.
With such outstanding raw material and the experience that backs us, we couldn’t help but create wines that are truly passionate. Each one with its own character, its own story, and its own unique way of expressing the essence of its variety.

Pasión de Bobal
Not so long ago, Bobal was synonymous with rustic character and difficult winemaking. So much so, that for years it was relegated to bulk wine production. But times change, and this "ugly duckling" has managed to redeem itself. Today, it shines with its own light, and Pasión de Bobal is proof of that.
This wine has won over a large fan club (and brought quite a few gold medals to the winery).

It’s vibrant, bursting with red and black fruit — strawberries, raspberries — and a subtle toasted note from six months of barrel aging. At its core lies the heritage of our old vines, bringing depth and character.

Pasión de Bobal Rosado
Bobal is one of those grape varieties with a special gift for rosé wines. At Raíces Ibéricas, we’ve taken it to its fullest expression with Pasión de Bobal Rosado.
This wine captivates at first sight, with its elegant, brilliant color. Then it seduces with its intense aromas, where notes of red fruit and rose petals take center stage. On the palate, it’s flavorful, well-balanced, and surprisingly structured.

Pasión de Moscatel
If you think of a sweet wine when you hear "Moscatel," you're not alone. It’s the usual expectation. But at Raíces Ibéricas, we like to challenge conventions, and Pasión de Moscatel is the perfect example.
This dry white breaks the mold with its endless freshness and the unmistakable character of the variety: white flowers, apricot, green apple… a vibrant, expressive wine full of nuance.

Although Bobal is the star of the family, Moscatel has earned its place in its own right. Deeply Mediterranean at heart, it’s grown in vineyards over 25 years old and undergoes a brief aging on lees, adding depth and balance.
It truly shines when paired with fish, white meats, pasta, cheeses, and desserts.
