160 candidacies from urban artists all over Spain. 160 ways of understanding art, the street, and color. And one conclusion: you have made it infinitely difficult for us to choose the winning artist.
After a call that has exceeded all our expectations, we can now announce it.
Artur López, known as ‘De Tripas Aerosol’, is the artist chosen to intervene on one of the facades of our winery in Maluenda (Calatayud), within the framework of the 2025 Harvest Festival.
His fresh style, with strength, contrast, and movement has delighted us and fits perfectly with our philosophy. We are convinced that his mural will wonderfully dialogue with the work painted last year by Vera Galindo, winner of the first edition of the contest.
A winery filled with art
Artur López's mural will be painted during the first days of September and will be officially presented on September 21, at our Raíces Ibéricas Harvest Festival in Maluenda.
And not only that, the artist himself will be present to share his work with all attendees and lead a children's workshop where the little ones can discover the artist within themselves.
A record call
Receiving 160 proposals from all corners of the country has been a true gift. You have made it very difficult for us and, although we have suffered, deep down we love it, because it means there is a lot of talent ready to fill places like our winery with life.
From Raíces Ibéricas we can only say ‘THANK YOU’ to all the artists who participated. This contest was born to stay, and with proposals like these, we have no doubt that urban art and wine will continue to meet in Maluenda.
