The great thing is that, no matter what, we won’t wake up. Because it’s very real that Las Pizarras Fabla #506 2024 has scored 95 points and won a Gold Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, one of the most demanding international wine competitions in the world.
This is an important recognition for this wine, but also for the Las Pizarras collection, whose vital goal is to express the personality of Calatayud through its villages, its high-altitude vineyards, and its soils.
And that is precisely the part that excites us the most.

The previous vintage, Fabla #506 2023, was already included by Wine Spectator among the 100 best wines in the world, a selection that included only eight Spanish wines. Now, Fabla #506 2024 receives Decanter’s endorsement with 95 points and a Gold Medal.

And continuity, although it sounds less spectacular than a medal, is one of the hardest things to achieve in wine. Every year the climate changes, the grapes change, the land changes, and the way all that reaches the glass changes.
